Earlier today around 11:20, I received a call from this number. The lady on the other end kept saying something about activating a 4G SIM. Since I have an app that can track calls, I saw that the call came from Kanpur. At first, she was chatting with me in Hindi, but when she realised I’m Bengali, she hung up. Then, she called back within like 5 minutes and switched back to speaking Hindi. It all felt fishy to me, so I looked it up and found some worrying stuff. Now I’m really stressed thinking about what info she might have got from me...

This number rang me up claiming to be from Airtel, asking for my complete address and saying I’d be sent a 4G Airtel SIM the next day. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Guwahati, Assam. But when I looked at my phone’s call records, it showed the call was made from Phanipur, Andhra Pradesh. I tried calling back on my landline, but the line wasn’t even active yet. The lady’s accent sounded Assamese too, which made it all quite fishy.

This number rang me up saying they would send a free 4G Airtel sim and asked for my address. I double-checked with Airtel and they said no such offer exists. Tried calling back but the number shows as inactive. Bit fishy if you ask me.
