I wouldn’t bother with this number - seems dodgy to me. It shows up as the Passport Office but I’m not convinced it actually is. I called it hoping for some info but no one said who they were, just left me waiting on hold. I saw someone else saying the same thing on a different site. Best to stick with the official number on the HMRC Passport Office site if you need to get in touch with them.
