Steer clear of this number - it seems dodgy to me! They've got the Passport Office's name attached, but I doubt they're the real deal. I rang them out of necessity, but there was no proper greeting or explanation of who they were, just endless holding. I've spotted a similar warning elsewhere too. Best to stick with the official contact number from the HMRC Passport Office site if you need to get in touch. Safety first, I say!
