I rang what I believed to be Sky using this number, only to be taken aback when I noticed they'd billed me nearly £5. It appears that this isn't genuine Sky, but rather a separate entity deceiving people to part them from their cash. This definitely warrants a report to Ofcom!

Back in March 2017, on the 5th, I rang Sky to question a payment I was sure was incorrect. I got the phone number directly from info Sky provided. I chose to call on a Sunday because I believed my service was supposed to be free then. Just recently, I checked my phone bill and saw a charge of £8.60 from a number I didn’t recognise. The number was 08724107000, with a reference to SCO14, which I assume is connected to Sky. If Sky knows this is some kind of scam, it’s really not on, and they should report it to Ofcom straight away for proper investigation.
