My landline has been getting calls nonstop, but whenever I pick up, there's silence on the other end before the call just cuts off.

Just wanted to add to what I said before. I've now got 81 alerts for blocked calls, 28 messages blocked and 6 voicemails that were completely silent. I've reported it to the spam hotline 7726, so let's see if that helps at all. It's crazy how my network can’t actually block the call itself before it hits me. Heard that iPhones manage to do this, but Android phones just filter them out instead, which isn’t the same thing really. Proper frustrating!

Really odd situation here. Got loads of calls from someone called Gary looking for Alexis, voice sounded off. Kept ringing over and over. I blocked the number but still kept getting alerts about missed calls from it. After blocking, it rang like 17 times in a single day! Now, nearly a week and a half later, I’m getting odd messages from a G. Edwards claiming they’re at Basingstoke hospital and to ring back. Had about five of those today already. Weird stuff.
