Over a couple of days, I phoned this number and a very similar one, both linked to Travelodge, trying to sort out a booking. After that, I noticed my phone bill shot up nearly twice as much this month because of those calls. Each chat lasted roughly 8 minutes mainly because the hotel manager was taking ages and dragging it out. Honestly, it feels like I've been ripped off and Travelodge showing bad service, considering they’d already make money from my booking anyway. *Just a heads up about the awful phone charges here!*

What a scam! We got slapped with two parking fines at the Bournemouth Travelodge even though we followed all the rules about the Disabled Blue Badge. Had to ring up Travelodge to sort it out. Thankfully, they cancelled the fines like they should’ve, but I still got hit with a £7.36 charge on my EE phone bill. They clearly don’t want people bothering them. Won’t be booking at Travelodge ever again.

wow, i rang travelodge about a booking that got pushed to this year then cancelled and was supposed to be replaced with a voucher. i needed to book again for august 2021 and wanted to use that voucher, but it never arrived, so i had to speak to someone about it. just found out 2 days later they charged me £6.22 for a 10min 59sec phone call. had no idea it was a premium rate number, and neither my phone provider (o2) nor travelodge warned me. be careful, don’t get caught out like i did!
