Received a call, but they failed to leave a message, which was rather odd. This number seemed to have been used for calling mobiles overseas.

Received a call from this number earlier today, but as soon as we picked up, all we heard was an endless buzzing sound. After that, we checked 1471 and found they had left a message on our answering machine, just a chap saying "Hello... Hello," almost as if he was waiting for someone to respond. There was definitely the vibe of a busy call centre in the background. I'd wager this is either a scam or some sort of sales pitch.
