We've been receiving calls on our mobile regarding loans, claiming that our application has been approved, yet we haven't actually applied for anything. Has anyone else had similar experiences or know who's behind these calls?

We've received the exact same call and initially started sharing some details. It soon became apparent that they were completely clueless about us. Clearly, it was just a bogus call-felt very much like a scam to me.

I've noticed that this number calls and promptly disconnects. I suspect it might be a premium rate line, so I've taken the liberty of blocking it on my mobile.

I keep receiving calls from these individuals, sometimes even twice daily. Being a retiree, it's really quite unsettling. I've never taken out a loan, not even once in my entire life. I'm left wondering who they are and what their intentions might be. I've gone ahead and reported them to BT as a nuisance caller.
