I received a call from a chap named Alan Dickinson who claimed he had two potential buyers for our TT but insisted on an upfront payment of £99. Sounds like a complete scam to me! I'd advise against sending any money! Direct line.

Avoid paying £99 for selling your vehicle! It's not worth it, trust me!

I forked out £99.99, yet I've still not managed to see any listings. What's going on?

We've been thoroughly duped by a rather persuasive character who went by the name of Daniel. She rang us on two separate occasions over a couple of days and managed to convince us that she had secured a finance arrangement with two eager buyers for our vehicle! However, after doing a bit of research online, it became clear that her claims were far from the truth. Now, there’s no response from her number at all.

I've just received a call from some company claiming to be linked to car finance, asking for a staggering £99.99 to supposedly assist us with selling our vehicle. They mentioned something about Autotrader, saying we had four interested parties, but they wanted our banking details? Absolutely not! The number to beware of is 800121. Keep an eye out for these scammers!

Just like the others, I received a call claiming they could quickly assist with selling my car. I tried reaching out to them twice, but each time I felt utterly dismissed. They just told me to ring back in a couple of weeks. Well, it’s been ages and I’ve heard nothing since. Total scam! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!

We received a call from Alan Dickinson regarding our vehicle, and he mentioned that there were three potential buyers interested. We forked out £99.99, but after a couple of days of silence, we decided to reach out again. Alan was quite shocked to learn that we hadn’t had any viewings at all. She suggested we give it a bit more time-just a few weeks-and we followed her advice, believing we ought to allow them a full week to see if they could work their magic. However, I must say, I find it hard to believe that selling the vehicle was just a ruse. To our pleasant surprise, within just two hours, a chap named Mark got in touch with us, and by the end of that weekend, our vehicle was sold! Thanks, Alan!

I forked out £99.99 on a Friday, only for the vehicle to vanish by Tuesday! It's a shame to hear that you all didn't receive the same level of service we did.

Steer clear of this outfit! We've been caught out by this scam too. A chap by the name of David Taylor called us, and his spiel matched what others have reported! Thankfully, we didn't hand over our credit card details after doing some digging into these crooks. When we threatened to contact the authorities, she abruptly hung up on us. Quite the dodgy operation!

Recently, we received a couple of calls from someone named Alex, who claimed to have three potential buyers for our car and assured us of a decent price. We're so relieved we checked out their details beforehand. Whatever you do, steer clear of handing over any cash!

Tried to con us into coughing up £99 for absolutely nothing, as these folks spun a load of fibs regarding car sales.

I received several calls from a certain Daniel Taylor, who claimed to be associated with the Volkswagen vehicle finance division. They mentioned they had two potential buyers interested in our car, suggesting they could facilitate viewings and so forth. This outfit insisted that they wouldn’t take a commission, just a modest £99 fee to handle the sale. The offered price seemed quite appealing, I must admit! Thankfully, we realised this might be a scam before handing over any cash. Just a word of caution to all - stay vigilant!

Beware! These individuals claimed they found a buyer for our vehicle, and in a moment of distraction during the call, we foolishly handed over our cash. Whatever you do, do not part with your money!
