Recently, I received a phone call from a chap named Terence Davis, representing First Line Services, using the number 08719069720. He claimed that I was entitled to a refund of approximately £1500 from my mortgage provider and that he could assist in reclaiming it. Strangely, he seemed to have all my bank and credit card details. My husband absolutely flipped when we told him about it! After a bit of sleuthing on this site, we discovered that a person named Davis was apparently the only one connected to this firm. I'm left wondering - is this some sort of con or what?

I received a phone call from a bloke named Terence Davies with a service line number 08719069720. He claimed that I owed roughly £1500 to my mortgage lender and that he could help me recover it. He mentioned something about a bank called GIR and even threw in some credit card numbers. The moment I shared this with my husband, he absolutely lost it! We were concerned and decided to reach out to the website for more information. It turned out there was another chap, also named Davis, who was the only one at this company that seemed somewhat trustworthy. What a complete scam, eh?

Received a call from First Line Services, and they clarified that we should be entitled to a refund related to our mortgage. To be honest, we were slightly sceptical at first, but we provided them with all the necessary details they requested. After a bit of a wait for the legal paperwork to arrive, we completed everything and sent it off. It’s now been 11 weeks, and we’d heard absolutely nothing. However, just today, a cheque for £4,190 landed on our doorstep! We’re thrilled! I've shared this news with all our family and friends because they've been eager to put in their own claims too. A bunch of individuals claimed that we had some sort of administrative charge for Abbey National Bank, which I can assure you is completely untrue. They then proceeded to ask for £75 to supposedly settle this issue.

I was told that these individuals seemed to know about a PPI policy linked to an old mortgage of ours, which is strange since we never had one. They mentioned that for the fee of £50, they could help us reclaim £40. Quite the odd offer, I must say!

It seems these individuals were under the impression that we had a PPI policy linked to an old mortgage, which we certainly did not. They claimed that for a mere £50, they could help us secure a refund of £4,000. Quite the bold assertion!

It seems these individuals were fully cognisant of the fact that we are connected to the outdated mortgage PPI situation (which I had no knowledge about). Apparently, there’s a possibility for us to reclaim £40 from the initial £50 they mentioned. Quite baffling, if you ask me!
