Got a call on my phone at half past eight, which I think shouldn’t be allowed. Mobile numbers feel way too private for cold calls, and you always half-expect it to be something urgent, so you end up picking up no matter what you're doing. The person was going on about winning £500 or something like that. On the plus side, at least with a smartphone, you can block the nuisance numbers now.

Its really annoying getting all these calls on both my mobile and landline. They never bother to leave a message. I’m quite old and not very well at the moment. Can someone please help me put a stop to these calls?

I picked up the phone but they just hung up straight away. Definitely don’t call back, it ends up being expensive.
