I tried to get in touch with National Express to gather a bit of info, but I had to wait ages since they were swamped with calls. Eventually, I got so fed up that I hung up without ever speaking to anyone. In the end, I didn’t acquire a single piece of information. Instead, I was left with a hefty phone bill of £15.44 for using their pricey service line. Best to steer clear of this!

I had a chat with National Express Coaches that lasted around 13 minutes. They stated on their site that the cost would be 13p per minute, and that rang true. But then O2 added their Access charge of 65p per minute on top of that! In the end, I ended up with a bill exceeding £10. Quite a surprise, really!

I’m on Giffgaff, so fortunately, when I tried to ring them back to find out who it was, the call wouldn’t connect. It turns out it’d eat into my balance instead of using my usual monthly allowance. I can only assume that when you do manage to get through, they hit you with a charge. Seems like a total con to me; call back and suddenly your wallet’s a bit lighter! What a bunch of numpties!
