It seems that we received a missed call on our office phone.

We received a text message on our phone purporting to be from Vanquis, requesting that we call a certain number due to a missed payment. However, we don’t have any dealings with them, so we won’t be giving them a ring. Seems rather dodgy to us - could very well be spam!

I recently received a text message that was eerily similar to the one mentioned earlier. When I decided to give them a ring, all I got was the usual dial tone-no greeting or mention of Vanquis Bank whatsoever. They simply instructed, “Press 1 to settle your payment now” or “Press 2 for other enquiries.” Naturally, I felt compelled to call them back for clarification, but when I did, they insisted on obtaining all my credit card information. We straight up declined! Total scam operation, if you ask me!

I've just received a text with the exact same nonsense. When I rang the number, I was met with a regular phone tone - no friendly introduction or any mention of Vanquis Bank, just a robotic voice telling me to "press 1 to make a payment right away" or "press 2 for other inquiries." Naturally, I decided to call them for clarification, but they immediately asked for all my credit card details. We wisely declined to provide any information! Clearly a bunch of con artists!
