I had to contact Payment Sense because my card machine stopped working. They explained that the issue arose because the machine had not updated to the latest software automatically. Normally, this update happens overnight, but since I didn't have it plugged in during that time, it couldn't complete the process. I wasn't aware of this requirement. During a lengthy phone call, they informed me that the software was 6 months outdated and I should have received a notification about the update at least 3 months ago. The person helping me mentioned that they had never seen such an outdated machine before, but eventually, we managed to resolve the issue. Now, to my surprise, I noticed that I was charged £21.59 for calling their helpdesk. This isn't the first time I've encountered excessive hidden charges from Payment Sense. Hopefully, I won't encounter that deceptive salesperson again. They are truly deceitful.
