Just to let you know, our call is coming through on our mobile. By the way, I’m with Orange. Was anyone else using the same network?

I'm absolutely fed up with this number constantly calling me! What a nuisance!

I've received the same old story as everyone else. The number doesn't appear on payphoneplus.com either. I did try calling back, but all I get is a bland, "Thank you for calling (NO BUSINESS NAME)." What a hassle!

Absolutely fed up with this number pestering us; what a nuisance!

It appears that the call was from an overseas call centre attempting to connect you with firms that help in arranging loan write-offs.

Does anyone have the foggiest idea whose number this might be? I'd really appreciate any insights. Cheers!

We just received a call from this number and I’m rather reluctant to return the call since it’s from someone unknown. It all feels a bit dodgy to me, so I thought it best to investigate a bit. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts, everyone; it’s evidently a ring-back scam. Quite irritated that they've managed to get hold of our number! I've also been plagued by a handful of dodgy texts and calls, which has us contemplating whether we need to change our number entirely.

I recently received a missed call and decided to return the call. It turned out to be someone trying to help me settle my debts. The call seemed to be from an overseas call centre.

Interestingly enough, I had a similar experience with my Lebara mobile. It was quite odd, really. All of us received the same ring at the same time last night!

Just like Big Chief, received a single call and then it cut off?

Received a call from this number as well. Oddly enough, it was just a single ring! What’s that all about?!?

I've just received a missed call from this number, and then, quite oddly, my phone suddenly stopped working. There's no display showing up, yet the message notification light is blinking away like mad! What on earth could that mean?!

I just had a missed call from this number (I’m on Virgin, by the way), and I really appreciate your insights. We definitely won't be returning the call! Thanks a lot! 😊

I received a call from this number roughly half an hour ago while I’m with Vodafone. The phone rang for a mere three seconds before it disconnected. When I tried to return the call, someone answered briefly but then hung up. Who might this be?

This feels eerily reminiscent of what they used to call 'CLI dumping'. It appears these individuals are merely trying to entice you into returning the call, likely so they can cash in on those pricey premium rate fees.

That’s a bit strange, isn’t it? Over here, taxi drivers usually just give one polite ring to let us know they’ve arrived. It’s almost like their subtle way of saying, “I’m outside!” Quite amusing, really! 😂

A company promising to wipe out your debts sounds dodgy to me. I'm certainly not silly enough to ring them back, but I've received my fair share of those calls, and they’re almost like clockwork. It’s obvious that when you start cold-calling folks with nonsense deals, people will tell you to bugger off more often than not. It really speaks volumes about their business model that they rely on getting you to call them back at your own expense. It makes you question the legitimacy of what they're peddling, doesn't it?

I recently received a quick call from this number and, rather naively, decided to return it. I was then met with a message asking me to hold due to an influx of calls. It certainly feels like I'm caught in a ring back scam.
