We've had a rather perplexing situation where some individuals have been trying to contact us on our parents' landline, which, I might add, we're no longer residing at. We've been scratching our heads trying to figure out who might be behind this number, especially since it doesn’t seem to accept incoming calls. Additionally, we don’t even have a Sky account! It's quite baffling how these people managed to get hold of our parents’ phone number. Really quite infuriating!

I received a call from 0871 664 1506 just a short time ago. It rang three times at around 3:06 in the afternoon before it ceased. I dialled 1471 to catch the number and then stumbled upon this site during my search. It makes me ponder how long this has been happening! I can’t help but wonder how many others are also on the receiving end of such calls. I reckon it must be quite a number, especially when you consider only those who take the time to report them here.

I recently received a call from this number, which was trying to push some phone and broadband services. We've been on the Telephone Preference Service for ages, and our details aren't even listed on the electoral register. When I informed the caller about this, they had the audacity to claim that the registration was only valid for two years, which is utter nonsense! I've lodged a complaint with the TPS about their shady tactics, and I highly recommend that others do the same.

I recently received a call from this number, and to be honest, it was rather peculiar. The chap on the other end had a rather strange tone and asked for our associate by their surname. Last month, we received a call from these individuals and mentioned that we needed some time to consider their "offer." They said they'd ring us back the following Tuesday. However, that call never came. Curiosity got the better of us, so we did a bit of digging and stumbled upon these comments. It’s shocking that such practices are permitted!

I received a call from this number around half past four on February 13th. As we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I was quite surprised! When I answered, they promptly hung up. It appears they're hoping to lure people into ringing them back, probably raking in some hefty charges, perhaps around 50 pence a minute or higher, and leaving you in limbo on the line. Graham, isn't this the same firm that was highlighted on Watchdog not too long ago?

Received a phone call from someone who was blabbering on about phone systems. I mentioned that I’m on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) register, meaning they ought to leave me alone. They had the audacity to claim that I needed to renew my TPS registration, which was absolute nonsense. Tried to ring them back, but the number was unrecognised and didn’t connect. Quite the hassle, really!

Our father-in-law received a call from these folks who were pushing a package deal for broadband and phone services at £19.99 a month, along with Sky for an additional £10. It all felt rather suspicious, to be honest. The chap named 'Alan' said he’d be giving us a ring back tonight for a decision since this offer was supposedly time-sensitive and needs to be snapped up quickly.

The individuals responsible are from Satlink Services Ltd., situated at Forest House on Durban Road in Bognor, West Sussex, PO22 9QT. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, we received a call from them, which clearly contravenes the DTI’s guidelines. To make matters worse, they misled us by claiming that one must re-register with the TPS each year, which is simply false for residential numbers. We’ve since lodged a report with Trading Standards regarding this issue.

While the phone number isn’t an exact match, it certainly leads back to the same crew at Link Services Ltd located on Durban Road, Forest Home, PO22 9QT. We were led to believe they were associated with SKY, and sadly, we fell into their trap. We paid a hefty £60 for a year’s service, giving them our debit card details in the process. To our dismay, it turns out it’s a recurring annual payment. When we reached out to LTSB for assistance, they weren't particularly helpful. We've sent back the cancellation notice along with several copies, but I can’t shake off this dreadful feeling that it’s going to end badly. When I contacted SKY about it, they merely mentioned that these scammers would be referred to their investigations department.

We received a call on our mobile earlier. The line rang once before it abruptly disconnected. When we attempted to return the call, an automated message informed us that we didn’t have sufficient credit to complete the call. They suggested topping up using our credit card. We decided against it and hung up, as we’d only just received our monthly allowance and our account had more than enough credit left.
