We received a missed call from this number earlier today. I’m due an upgrade in December, but we’ve never had any contracts or pay-as-you-go plans with Orange - I’m a Vodafone customer! It seems like yet another scam making the rounds, likely not limited to just Orange either! Is there anything I can do to stop these callers from bothering us? It feels like we’re getting harassed by scam calls every day. We always ignore them and simply look up the number afterwards when they ring.

I just received a call from this number, but sadly, I missed it. It seemed to be linked to our recent upgrade, which we carried out about three weeks ago.

I let a call slip through my fingers today and couldn't recognise the number. Thought I'd investigate it online. We're currently on Orange but won't be up for an upgrade until next year!

I received a call from this number earlier today (15th of February, 2011, at precisely 15:15). All I could hear on the other end was an extremely posh lady's voice. I'm rather grateful for the pre-recorded message that accompanied our new answering machine! It ensures that they won't be bothering me again!

They rang us once more today and hung up, just like before. So, I decided to give them a ring back and lost my temper! The lass on the other end insisted they hadn’t called us, to which I countered that someone in their office obviously had. I told her to remove our details from their records or I’d involve the authorities. They asked for our mobile number, which we gave, and she assured me it would be taken off their list. Time will tell, won’t it? 😉

I had a rather curious encounter with these callers who got in touch on the 8th of September 2009. They seemed quite adamant, ringing me again just earlier today. They claimed to be associated with Orange, talking about an impending upgrade and discounts, since apparently we’re punctual with our payments. I had to clarify that they must have mixed up their facts, as we won’t be eligible for anything until February 2010 or potentially even as late as May 2010. After I pointed this out, the conversation ended rather abruptly, with her simply saying "bye". Quite an odd experience, really!

I received a rather peculiar phone call at home today. The caller claimed that they could help us save a staggering 50% on our line rental! However, they seemed rather fixated on this chap named Jason Briscoe - someone I've never encountered in my life. The young lady on the other end kept asking if we were existing or former BT customers, which baffled me as I've never had any affiliation with BT whatsoever! To top it off, my number has been with us for over two years now, and it’s quite amusing how often we get calls looking for this same person. It makes one wonder how on earth they got our number in the first place!

I’ve just had a missed call from this number. We’re with Orange as well, but we only upgraded our plan last month! We’re starting to suspect it might be some sort of scam!

Received a call from this number today, but it was unreachable at the time, so I decided against answering. After seeing the reports, I’m rather pleased I didn’t! We’re with Orange and were contemplating a chat with them. Our upgrade is coming up in December, too.

They contacted me again this morning! A gentleman answered the call and I let him know that I’m getting the police involved, as it feels rather like harassment. He assured me he’d sort things out and ensure our numbers are removed. We’ll see how that pans out! 🤞

I had a rather odd call from this number, claiming they were from Orange and that I was eligible for an upgrade. However, I made it clear that my upgrade isn't due until March 2010. They insisted that was incorrect and said that's the reason for the call. One chap even went as far as to offer to play back a message to verify their claim. I told them that I was busy with work and asked them to ring back later. Strangely enough, I never heard from them again. So I decided to contact Orange directly, and lo and behold, I was right: no upgrade is due until March. It seems this lot was just trying to pull a fast one on me!
