Received a missed call from this number and it doesn’t ring any bells. Could this be some sort of scammer trying to entice folks into ringing back for a premium rate call?

I received a missed call from this number earlier today, and I can’t say it’s someone I know. A text popped up on my phone saying, “You have a missed call from this number at 17:23 on 28th September, but they didn’t leave a message.” Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is it possible this could be someone trying to scam folks into returning a call to a premium rate line?

I just had a call from this number that I didn't pick up. It seems a bit dodgy as I don’t know anyone associated with it. My phone sent me a text saying, "You've got a missed call: the number rang at 17:23 on the 28th of September, but didn't leave a message." Has anyone else received something similar? I suspect it might be a scam, possibly trying to lure people into returning the call for premium rates!
