It seems we're plagued by calls during the workday, precisely between 11 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon! Luckily, our phone is perpetually on silent mode, so it’s not too bothersome. However, getting through to return a call is a real challenge, and when you do manage to connect, it’s always to an answerphone from some Caribbean island. It reminds me of my time in that part of the world - the recorded messages sound eerily similar, no matter where you are. Quite the nuisance, really!

The moment you receive a call from this lot, just steer clear and avoid calling them back. It's a scam. If you do ring them again, brace yourself for a hefty bill-usually around £5 a pop. It's baffling why companies like BT or other providers don't take a stand against this sort of thing.

Aside from the Autotrader magazine, the only ones who possess our mobile number are friends and family. It's quite clear that's how these individuals obtained it. We’re experiencing the very same issue! It’s driven us absolutely bonkers! Every single day, we receive calls from these numbers where they just hang up as soon as we answer.
