Phone number ☎️ 08715722434 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance call campaign targeting those registered with the TPS, mainly on BT lines but also other providers like Virgin and Tiscali. Callers use an automated message claiming to be a "free national awareness msg," urging recipients to press 5 for info about debt relief. The calls often show withheld or suspicious numbers, frustrating people who don’t want to engage. Many find the messages irritating and invasive, with some reporting repeated calls over weeks despite official complaints. 10 yearsA call came through shortly after 11 o’clock this morning. It’s obvious these callers prefer chatting to actual humans rather than leaving a message. We used 1471 and found the number to be rather dodgy, so I'm relieved we decided against answering. I’m a BT customer and have been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for quite some time now.Telephone Preference Service10 yearsThere could be nuances in the distinction between preserving one’s identity and the qualities that define it.10 yearsA rather intrusive national awareness message interrupted our BT phone line, which we had registered with the Telephone Preference Service. It cheerfully announced, “Press five if you wish to eliminate your debts when your earnings exceed fifty.” Naturally, I pressed five, expecting a bit of assistance. The agent came on the line and inquired about our eagerness to tackle our financial burdens. I promptly asked for the name of his company. He insisted on knowing merely when we might want to be free of debt. I made it clear that my main interest lay in halting such nuisance calls. To this, he replied rather nonchalantly that it appeared we weren’t keen on their offerings and wished me a pleasant day. What a farcical exchange!Telephone Preference Service10 yearsThis afternoon at precisely 9:45, we received a voicemail that was exactly the same as the one left by Mike H. We’re connected through a BT line and are listed with the Telephone Preference Service. We figured out the caller's number using 1471.Mike H11 yearsReceived a call from this number at precisely 11:00 on the 27th of November in 2007. I'm currently using Virgin for my landline service.Virgin11 yearsA chap with a deep voice announced, "This is a complimentary national awareness message." And so it goes on...11 yearsI received an automated message that started off with, “This is a complimentary national awareness message.” It then went on to urge us to hit ‘5’ if we wanted more details. Obviously, we chose to ignore that prompt. It seems like my privacy has become a thing of the past, and who can blame me for not wanting to engage? I certainly didn't want to be bombarded with a lengthy lecture!12 yearsA few weeks back, I received quite a few of these national awareness calls, and it seemed like the callers vanished for a bit. However, just today, I had another go at it. I registered my number in 1471 and was told, "We can’t provide you with the caller's number," claiming these calls were from abroad. It’s rather perplexing, considering I have a BT line alongside OneTel for my calls. My details are ex-directory and I've even signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, yet I still find myself bombarded with these unsolicited calls on a frequent basis.OneTelTelephone Preference Service12 yearsGot a rather automated message saying it was a complimentary national awareness alert, and lo and behold, they encouraged us to hit '5' for more details. Naturally, we didn’t bother with that. It seems privacy is a thing of the past when it comes to phone calls now! Probably because they’re dreading a bit of a telling off!12 yearsI received a voicemail earlier today at 9:16 AM from the number mentioned above. Just to let you know, I’m on a BT landline and I’ve registered with the Telephone Preference Service.BTTelephone Preference Service12 years"Received a pre-recorded message that said, 'This is a complimentary national awareness announcement.' They were ultimately urging us to hit '5' if we wanted more details. The call came through at precisely 11:16 on the 27th of November."12 yearsReceived a call from this number around 7:45 PM on the 26th of November, 2007. I'm registered with BT and also on the Telephone Preference Service.BTTelephone Preference12 yearsFor the past few weeks, I've been getting these pesky calls, usually about once a week. When I answered, it was an automated voice repeating the same old spiel. What's odd is that the number was withheld whenever I tried to check it by dialling 1471. The phone service I use is BT, and apparently, the number is on the TPS list as well. Has anyone here managed to stop this company from calling them? If so, what methods worked for you?12 yearsI received a call from this number recently. Our home has been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for quite a while now. BT is our line provider, yet for the last month, we've been getting calls from Tiscali, which seem to be alarmingly similar to those from RMG. Is this just a coincidence, or is there something more to it?Telephone Preference ServiceBTTiscaliRMG12 yearsReceived another annoying call today from that same number. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list, and my line’s through BT. Absolutely exasperating!BT12 yearsHello there, Inspector-just to let you know, we're affiliated with BT.—BT12 yearsFinancial Services Data Management certainly has a penchant for bothering folks with their relentless calls regarding outstanding debts. We've already reached out to OFCOM and the Information Commissioner about the incessant ringing from different numbers they've used previously. It's quite tiresome, to say the least!Financial Services Data ManagementOFCOM13 yearsWe've recently received an automated message on our home number, which has been registered with the Telephone Preference Service for quite some time now. Interestingly, our service provider switched from BT to Tiscali not long ago.Telephone Preference ServiceBTTiscali13 yearsI keep receiving these irritating messages that are all about debt and how certain folks could assist. One recorded voice instructed me to press five if I wanted to speak to someone. It's becoming quite maddening, and once we get another call like this, I’m absolutely going to report them and let them know where they can shove their nonsense. I’m with BT, and this needs to end. Just think about it - what if an elderly person was on the receiving end of these calls? It’s simply unacceptable.Submit Your Own Report (0871 572 2434)
