I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number. I tend to only reach out to mates, so I can firmly say I certainly didn’t place any calls to them. To make matters worse, I just got my latest phone bill, and there’s a concerning charge of £20 linked to this number that I’m certain I didn’t initiate. Upon digging a bit deeper, it appears this originates from Carphone Warehouse. To top it all off, my credit history seems to have taken a nosedive around the same time. Fingers crossed nobody else falls victim to this sort of thing!

I received this number from The Carephone Warehouse concerning a mobile phone contract, which unfortunately has turned into a right nightmare. It’s led to me being saddled with a negative entry on my Equifax credit report! They insist it’s not their responsibility and claim they aren’t collecting any dues from me. In the meantime, I’m stuck with a mobile bill of £9 for just a brief conversation with them. What a mess!
