Absolutely, we caught wind of this scammer on the telly. Seems there's a bloke claiming to be a grandson marooned in Canada, begging his grandma for funds to make his way back. Best to steer clear of this one. It's baffling that authorities struggle to take action against such fraudulent schemes.

On the 9th of March 2011, we received a message that was exactly the same. It came from an email linked to a reliable friend, but something felt off. My mate would never use the language that appeared in that email. If you happen to receive something like this, it’s best to notify the local authorities immediately. This is clearly a scam!

We’ve received the exact same email as well. Could it simply be junk mail? The person who sent it had the initials A. N. - does that match the one you got too?
