Just got my phone bill and it’s got a £40 charge for making a call from the beach to sort out a group holiday that cost £15,000 because you couldn’t book it online. Properly shocking way to treat customers, especially when you’re spending that much on a holiday with them. The holiday’s all sorted now, but I’m never gonna pay for that kind of call again, so they’re only harming themselves in the long run.

I had to ring On The Beach and ended up waiting on hold for nearly 91 minutes out of a 92-minute call. When the bill came through, it was a staggering £79! I've now put in a complaint and they say they’re investigating it. Honestly, my advice is don’t bother calling these lot. They’re just a bunch of rip-off artists. If they don’t refund me, you’ll definitely see me blowing up social media about this.

I rang On The Beach to sort out some details about my holiday since I have a disability. Was shock to find out I got charged £4.50 just for 8 minutes on the phone, and then after a couple more calls, my bill went up by nearly £10! Proper rip off that is. Once more, we’ve fallen prey to what we believed was a trustworthy firm, only to discover they’re rather opaque about the fees for reaching their 'customer support' team. Quite the irony, isn't it? How on earth can they advertise 13p a minute when a call lasting 9 minutes and 20 seconds ended up costing us a whopping £6.23? A right swindle, that! They’ve certainly lost a customer here and will only have themselves to blame for it. The power of word-of-mouth remains significant, and I daresay they’d be wise to keep that in mind.
