I received a suspicious letter claiming our payment has been rejected and urging us to provide our bank account details. There was no company name or any details related to our order, which immediately raised a red flag. To add to the strangeness, the letter was addressed to us, but our surname was misspelled in quite an unusual way. The return address listed was Xtra Services, PO Box 801, Kirkcaldy, Fife, KY2 6WW, and the phone number on it was 08712713500. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

We received quite a suspicious email stating that our payment had been declined, accompanied by a request for their bank details. Strangely enough, there was no mention of a company name or any specifics about this supposed order. To make matters even more questionable, the sender pretended to be someone who apparently miswrote our surname. The address listed was: Xtra PO Box 801, Kirkcaldy, Fife KY2 6WW, with a contact number of 0871 271 3500. Quite the dodgy affair, if you ask me!

I received a letter addressed to someone else, but it seems to pertain to my dealings with Wescot debt collectors. They've completely butchered the spelling of our surname. A few weeks back, we received the same sort of correspondence. The address matched that of Top Up TV, just like on our Freeview telly. I've never reached out to them before, and I reckon if this was genuinely from them, the letter would bear their official name rather than that of 'Xtra Services', which is precisely how it was presented. I suspect this is nothing short of a scam. I’m off to chat with our bank to ensure there haven't been any dodgy attempts to access our account.
