Right now, we’re in the process of getting ourselves booked for a dinner outing with a wealthy individual from New York tomorrow. However, there’s a catch - we’ve been asked to fork out £251 upfront before they will share our details. What on earth is going on here? The caller used the number 08712464851 and assured us that we would receive a neat £600 in an envelope by a certain date. Has anyone else come across something like this?

We were almost drawn into something rather dodgy, after chatting with a Scottish lass who seemed overly keen on parting us with our cash. A bit of digging into Adorabelles revealed that they’re actually linked to a bunch called Model Couples and Candy Escorts, all based in Spain, and are reportedly orchestrated by a timeshare con artist named Tony Muldoon. Quite the revelation!

We've coughed up £251 and were meant to have an appointment with a French client this coming Friday. Yet, our phones haven’t chimed at all. I tried ringing them all evening, but not a single peep back. Curiously, once I dropped a message under a different name, they got back to us. However, I was kept on hold for a whopping twenty minutes! Eventually, Sammy picked up the line to inform us that the client had called it off and there were no alternatives in sight. We’ve requested our £251 back, but they’re now claiming the number is irrelevant. We’re off to the police now! How ridiculous!

If anyone has any insight on how I might reclaim my funds, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. The bank has informed us that these individuals are prohibited from withdrawing any additional money. They've suggested I file a report with the local authorities, yet I'm still in the dark about when I might see my money returned. Any tips would be immensely helpful!

We recently made the decision to go with We are Ben TLD, and I've got to say, it’s a bit concerning that we’re scheduled to work on Thursday evening. Apparently there's a gentleman attending to a patient, which feels awfully timed, doesn’t it? I reckon it would be prudent for us to feature prominently on the priority list, especially considering this debacle dates back to June 24, 2010. I can't stress enough to steer clear of this company. We're going to have to figure out how to retrieve our funds. And just a heads-up, these folks tend to insist on receiving payment via Western Union.

Thank goodness we didn't hand over any cash; we experienced the same old nonsense that so many have mentioned here. A bloke had us convinced-a fitness trainer over in the States, all the usual razzmatazz. We’re absolutely chuffed we did our due diligence! To anyone perusing this comment, please steer clear of ADORABELLES!

Well, what can I say? We forked out £251 today for a job, and wouldn’t you know it, these folks rang us up an hour later to say the worker had to bail because he was off to the hospital. I can’t help but feel completely swindled! How could we be so gullible? Now I’m nearly broke just in time for Christmas! I’ll be having a word with the police to see if there’s anything they can do, but honestly, it’s just a right pickle and we’re feeling quite foolish about it all.

It may also be wise to inform your local constabulary about the situation. Don't let them get away with it!

Just a quick note to everyone: steer clear of shelling out any cash! It’s a total scam. We were about to fork out £366.00, but thankfully we backed out. Let's put an end to Adorabelle's money-grabbing antics!

TOTAL charlatans! Don't fall for their tricks and part with your cash. I should have seen it coming; any genuine business wouldn't ask you to pay upfront just to sign up. Just one word: watchdog! Stay vigilant!

I must say, we're incredibly grateful that we stumbled upon this information prior to parting with any funds. My heart goes out to those who have actually sent off their hard-earned cash, thinking it was the real deal. It’s truly a classic case of something seeming far too good to be true!

We’ve rather naively handed over cash to this scammer! They seemed entirely convincing, and given our financial predicament, we didn’t take the time to think things through. We completely ignored our instincts the moment they asked for payment. What a blunder! Looks like that money is just gone now, doesn't it?

We've shelled out a hefty sum of £251 for this, and we're meant to be accompanying a lady in her fifties. We're both in our late fifties ourselves. We’ve been left in limbo waiting for the client to ring us with the details of our rendezvous - it was scheduled for Friday, but now it's Saturday. The deadline for our meeting over lunch and drinks is set for 2 PM today, and frankly, we’re beginning to lose hope that the call will come through. If it doesn’t, we can only blame ourselves for being so naïve. Should the ring never arrive, we won’t hesitate to involve the authorities and seek legal counsel. If you could, at your earliest convenience, look into this firm for us, it would be much appreciated. Our mate Jon recently informed us that she’s now part of a similar establishment.

Earlier today, we gave them a bell, along with a couple of other establishments, and I must say, these folks truly know their stuff. They have a knack for saying the right things that really put you at ease. What really stood out was when we requested to have a face-to-face chat during the registration and, crucially, when it came to the payment aspect. It feels a bit off since there are often genuine reasons behind why individuals find themselves in need of financial help. Nevertheless, it was imperative to take the reins; if it weren’t for those messages we received, we might’ve overlooked this whole opportunity altogether.

If anyone has forked out cash after reaching out to the Adorabelles website or a similar escort service, I strongly urge you to visit the Suffolk Trading Standards credit card site. Once there, navigate to the “Latest News” section and fill out the questionnaire regarding “Operation Troy.” I’m eager to get in touch with others who may have fallen victim to this scam.

It's truly bewildering to consider just how many individuals, myself included, are thoroughly exasperated by this situation. It seems utterly ridiculous that we’ve let this continue unchecked. Honestly, one can't help but think these individuals deserve some serious consequences for their actions.

Have you been taken for a ride? I'm thinking about signing up myself, so any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hi there, In our haste, we foolishly neglected to conduct thorough research prior to signing up with the Adorabelles, and we ended up shelling out £251. Have you sought legal advice regarding this? What results have you achieved from that? We share a similar sentiment towards Suha as well! Eager to hear back from you soon. Best wishes, Amy Fleming

I received a call from this number at half eleven earlier today, 18th January 2010, on my mobile. I've always been a bit wary of 0871 numbers, so I chose not to answer. Given the feedback I've seen, I reckon that was a smart move!

We've found ourselves in the same predicament, being asked to fork out £366. The situation has been so challenging that we've had to borrow most of it! Given our current financial circumstances, it’s truly desperate for us. Honestly, what utterly heartless individuals!
