We've received a number of calls from this particular number on several occasions now. Honestly, they must think we’re a bit dim, considering we recognised it as a scam straight away the first time it happened. They claim to be from the Sky Billing department and say you're due for a refund because you've been overcharged. They'll ask you to verify a few personal bits: your full name, postcode, and date of birth. Then, just when you think it's all above board, they’ll attempt to coax you into handing over your card details by promising to refund you and adjust your direct debit. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. IT’S A SCAM! They even attempt to build a rapport by providing a name, an address (all made up), a postcode (also fictitious), a Sky ID (completely fabricated), and a phone number. They insist it’s not a scam because they wouldn’t give out such information. But stay sharp-this is just another ploy to obtain your card details. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS. IT IS A SCAM!

What an utter swindle! I've been receiving three or four calls weekly, all claiming that Sky is trying to return some funds to me. I reached out to Sky directly, and they confirmed that it's all a ruse. The representative advised me to simply hang up and disregard any further communications from them. Just ridiculous!
