This number is definitely a scam, stay away from it.

I got in touch with Trainline, their number is 0333 202 2222 and it's a pretty fair 2p per min charge. This other number isn’t legit, definitely a scam and has no link to them. Maybe it just forwards you to the proper 0333 line?

So I rang my mobile provider this morning because my bill was nearly double what it usually is. They told me I was on a call lasting 29 minutes and it had cost me £16.58. Problem is, I’ve never made or received any calls from that number! Turns out it was from Trainline, which is really frustrating since I’ve used their services for years and never had to speak to anyone about tickets or anything like that. It honestly feels like they’ve scammed me, misusing my info and breaking data protection rules, charging me for something that never happened! Properly annoyed right now 😡🤬

Absolutely appalled with Virgin Trains! I just spent £26 due to your messed-up lines! I'm absolutely furious - what a shambles! The ticket prices are already steep without having to pay for a call to find out what the issue is! This is utterly unacceptable!

Totally agree with others here, I ended up paying £24 just to book a train ticket over the phone! Ridiculous, I’ll be avoiding the Trainline from now on - what a rip off! MLC

08712441545 - I booked a train ticket and clicked through their website, only to end up with a phone bill for it. Avoid Trainline, seriously. The moment you try to get assistance via their site, the phone charges start stacking up ridiculously high - and there’s no heads-up from them at all. Definitely not using their site again. I checked Southern Rail recently and their prices were the same, so Trainline aren’t offering any deal, just luring you in to squeeze money out of you with sneaky tricks.

Went to see my folks in Bletchley not long ago and switched up my trip, bought train and ferry tickets back to Dublin. Rang Trainline thinking it was a normal landline number, but they had me waiting ages, put me on hold loads of times and kept asking me to say my info again. Then got my phone bill and it was a ridiculous €46 (£40). Total rip off, watch out for this!

I rang this number to sort out an £11 fine, but when my phone bill came through, I’d been charged £16 just for calling 08712441545. They had me waiting on hold ages as well.

Got charged £7.80 when I was tryin to book a train ticket through Trainline, absolute daylight robbery. Next time I’ll just book straight from the website. Won’t be using them again. He kept me on hold while checking prices, no wonder took so long. So frustrating. Number was 08712441545.

Don't bother calling 08712441545. It's the Trainline, and it cost me £5.37 just to get a refund of £6.60. No surprise he left me waiting so long, probably going to ask a 'supervisor'. Such a waste of time and money.

Yeah, it was the trainline alright, trying to get my £40 ticket refunded and ended up spending more than £20 just on calls! Proper rip off if you ask me!

I was honestly shocked when I rang this number for help with buying a ticket and a dodgy website issue, only to find I'd been charged extra that pushed me over my mobile provider's limit, cutting off all my services. It’s absolutely RIDICULOUS that this firm, meant to offer support (based in India, naturally), can behave like this without consequences. I'm reporting this to my MP and would really suggest others do likewise.

Absolutely right! Just spent £1.96 on a call to Trainline regarding an issue with my train reservation. It was an offshore call centre, and it turned into a complete waste of time. I've firmly decided it's best to avoid calling them in the future!

Tried ringing this number for train info, what a load of rubbish! Definitely not using it again, so expensive when you could just pop to the station and get sorted by the staff there for free. Don’t waste your money on this. 08712441545.

Absolutely not going near Trainline ever again! What a bunch of robbers! I was left in limbo, having to go over the same points repeatedly for no good reason. I had to shift my ticket dates because I wasn’t well, and they just droned on with unneeded politeness. It’s a shame that future customers don’t seem to be forewarned about this company’s shoddy service!

I can't believe what I've just experienced! I forked out £5.13 just to speak on the phone, and then they had the nerve to quote me £77.50 for a train ride that should've only been £41 at the ticket counter! It's absolutely ludicrous! I'm so relieved I decided to double-check before completing my online booking. When I looked again three or four days later, the fare had skyrocketed to a staggering £103! This company is a complete con. I strongly advise against using their services. Total rip-off!

I'm absolutely appalled at the extortionate fees they've slapped on their calls. There's no way I'll be giving this company my business again. They hit me with a whopping £13.00 just for a brief 10-minute chat! What a rip-off!

I recently used trainline.com to organise my travel arrangements online, but, to my astonishment, I never received the confirmation email. What’s more, I had to fork out £9.70 for their so-called 'Help Line' just to rectify an issue that stemmed from their own system glitch. It’s absolutely outrageous! I really think this sort of behaviour should be treated as a serious offence - it's nothing short of a scandalous scam!

I purchased a ticket online for someone else, but I couldn’t manage to have it sent to me. While trying to get help to send the ticket to their phone (which was the only available option), I accidentally called this number. The call went on for about 16 minutes and cost me £5.97 because it was tagged as a “non-geographic” number. I’m guessing this number is somehow linked to Trainline, and I’d have thought they'd be a bit more thoughtful and professional regarding their phone charges.

I've only just received my phone bill for number 08712441545, and it’s absolutely no surprise why these companies go to great lengths to keep you tied in for longer.
