08712302020 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 08712302020 👆 is reported as a source of unsolicited, explicit SMS messages promoting a conversation line, often causing frustration among recipients. Users have mixed experiences when contacting the given customer support number or emailing, with some having their numbers removed from marketing lists relatively quickly, while others continue to receive messages despite repeated requests. Attempts to use keyword replies like "STOP" or "QUIT" have proven largely ineffective, particularly as many messages originate from premium-rate numbers. The company reportedly maintains terms and conditions allowing such messaging to numbers that have engaged with their services. Those affected are advised to call the official customer support directly, ensure calling from the correct number, or email their suppression requests, but should remain cautious about potential call costs and be prepared for variable outcomes.

Oh, Andrea, you silly goose! You've dialled the chat line these folks are advertising instead of the support number. If you’re after a cheeky chat, give 08712302020 a bell. For customer support, the number you want is bla bla bla.

I've just given that number a bell, and it only took me about half a minute. Fingers crossed, this means they'll finally pack it in!

I'm encountering the very same issue! I'm receiving a text message every month from them promoting their chat line, yet there's no option for me to reply with 'stop,' and I certainly don’t want to have to call them. It appears to be a company called APN.

We've been receiving a steady stream of texts from this number related to a homosexual chat service. We tried replying with "STOP" in the hopes they'd cease contacting us, but it seems none of their numbers are set up to accept messages in return. We're definitely not going to call them either, as we don't want to part with any cash for this hassle. It's got us a bit stumped on how to get them to finally leave us alone!

So, it turns out our partner's clued up about the whole situation. What’s the next step for us now?

I came across an email where you can reach out to have your number removed from their list. It's [email protected]. Honestly, I've had a rather positive experience with their customer support team when dealing with these pesky text messages. They actually managed to block my number and got back to me with a confirmation in less than a day. It seems like they might have something in their Terms and Conditions stating that they reserve the right to send promotions to numbers that have engaged with their services.

We took Paul's advice, and it turned out to be spot on! Really appreciate it!

Has anyone managed to locate a landline number for customer service? It would be quite handy to ring that with your mobile, allowing it to count towards your inclusive minutes. If you happen to come across one, do share it!

I suggest you drop them an email. I'm quite confident you'll hear back from them within a day, confirming that they've ensured your number is removed from any marketing lists going forward.

Greetings everyone! We've done a bit of digging into this company and they seem to provide a variety of services. We gave them a call to figure out how to stop those pesky messages, and here's what they shared with us. If you receive a text from a five-digit number, such as 69001, simply send a text saying 'quit' back to that same number to unsubscribe. However, if the communication is from a chatline, you’ll need to reach out to their customer service directly. Just a heads up, responses sent via SMS to 0871 or 09 numbers don’t reach the company. Hope that clarifies things for you all!

I rang the number to opt out of those irritating gay spam calls (08712246640), and the chap on the line assured me that they’d promptly block our number. However, he mentioned that we should still be able to contact the line for a bit longer, which turned out not to be the case. Mind you, this was a second-hand phone I picked up on eBay.

Simply give a bell to the customer service line at 08712246640 and request for your number to be removed from their database. It’s perfectly acceptable to do so, as we all know how bothersome these calls can be!

I've been inundated with a barrage of these text messages and, earlier today, I took a shot at ringing up to have our number removed from the register. Appreciate the heads up! Fingers crossed this does the trick!

I've reached out to their customer service twice by dialling 08712246640, hoping to resolve the issue with these persistent texts. The first call led me to believe they would sort it out and remove my number from their list. However, I still keep receiving their messages! Feeling rather frustrated, I called them again, and they advised me to send a text saying BLOCK ALL to a shortcode, which I can no longer find. I followed their instructions twice, yet the texts haven't ceased. Now I'm absolutely fed up and reluctant to call them a third time, as it's becoming quite costly!

If you give a bell to C at the number 08712246640, you can simply request for them to remove your number from their files. Of course, it's not mandatory, but we can all agree that it's rather irritating, isn't it?

My eight-year-old daughter has been inundated with these strange messages on her mobile phone, which she got from a relative not too long ago-a rather old model. I contacted their helpline at 0871 2246640, ensuring I dialled 141 first for privacy, and the chap on the line assured me that he would have her number taken off their list. The whole call was wrapped up in under a minute! Here’s hoping it works!

Blimey! We just gave that number a bell and it's some sort of voicemail service that kicks off with, "You've reached the United Kingdom Lads. By calling this number, you’re accepting my terms and conditions!" But what on earth are these terms and conditions, exactly? The text we received was quite, shall we say, explicit! Has anyone managed to track down a proper geographical number for these blokes? I didn’t fancy hanging on the line, as I had no clue what I’d be agreeing to!

I rang the number (08712246640) to get rid of those persistent gay spam messages, and the chap on the line informed me that they would cut off our number straight away. However, he mentioned something about needing to have accessed the number at some point, which we certainly haven’t done. Interestingly, this was a second-hand phone I acquired from eBay, so who knows where it's been!
