It’s quite probable that this outfit is a scam. The giveaway was when your phone rang back, indicating they’re profiting off your missed calls.

I just received a call from technical support at Hex, but unfortunately, I couldn't pick up in time. I tried calling back only to find that it went straight to voicemail, and then they ended the call. Super frustrating!
