I got a call from this number on my mobile last Tuesday, but they just hung up straight away. Then today, Tuesday 6/7/21, around 1:11 pm, they rang again and I just let it ring without picking up. Feels like they’re really harassing me, I’m living in Essex and might have to change my phone number because it’s getting annoying.

Got a call from a bloke who claimed his name was Michael. He called me by my first name like we were old mates, then launched into some spiel about a government-backed window and heating upgrade. I cut him off pretty sharp, told him exactly where to put his “offer.” Suddenly, the line went all squeaky and he hung up. No doubt a dodgy scam attempt.

Windows Help To Buy have been ringing me around three times weekly. I've tried blocking their numbers and even told them to take me off their calling list, but they just switch to new numbers and keep bothering me. Proper frustrating!

Today I got a call from 08708200747, a bloke with a proper English accent who asked for me by my first name - weirdly, my BT call guardian didn’t block it. He introduced himself in a super friendly, almost too familiar way, then said something like "Surely you asked about a loan for your windows and doors?" I quickly told him I hadn’t, and he went quiet straight away, so I just hung up. I saw this number had called me yesterday too. I doubt they’ll call again but it’s a bit odd. He wasn’t pushy or threatening at all and honestly, I’ve never looked into loans like that.
