08707876827 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 08707876827 👆 is reported as an automated telemarketing outfit contacting TES magazine subscribers, enquiring about alternative delivery details due to postal strikes. Callers often hang up abruptly when questioned or refused personal information, leading to suspicion and confusion. Many report no messages left despite multiple calls, causing frustration and doubts about the legitimacy of the operation. Some feel uneasy due to probing questions unrelated to delivery info, such as birthplace. The numbers have been linked to survey requests but callers rarely identify themselves fully, leaving recipients unsure who they are speaking to. Overall, it appears as a somewhat intrusive and unsatisfactory experience for the people receiving these calls, particularly those who already have valid delivery arrangements in place.

I just received a call from someone claiming to be from TES asking for our address and postcode, mentioning something about a school connection amid the postal strikes. As soon as we mentioned that the postal disruptions had concluded, they abruptly ended the call. Odd, isn't it?

I received a call from this number and I'm keen to find out who was on the other end. Any help in identifying the caller would be greatly appreciated!

Absolutely the same experience here. These individuals claimed they were in the process of updating our business address records and then proceeded to ask for our full name, followed by the city of our birth. We felt quite uncomfortable sharing that information, so we politely declined, and they abruptly hung up. Quite bizarre, if you ask me!

We've subscribed to TES, but it seems these individuals failed to relay a message.

I received a call from these individuals, and shortly after, they disconnected. We decided to give them a ring back, only to be met with a recorded message claiming it was a survey from Optimal Telemark. We felt rather foolish for believing we were misled into calling them again.

I'm in the same boat, mate. We've got ourselves a TES subscription too, and just earlier, this number called us wanting some extra details about our delivery because of the postal strike. We decided it was best not to share any more information with them.

I received a call on my mobile from these folks, and shortly after, they rang my landline as well but hung up. Does anyone have an inkling as to who they might be?

Oddly enough, these individuals mentioned that they were searching for "PIQ" questions, which had to do with our origins. At that juncture, we decided to hang up. It’s quite puzzling why a publication like Computing magazine would be interested in such matters!

We experienced something similar, but we chose not to respond since we weren't familiar with the number. They didn’t leave any sort of message for us. We have TES and received an email concerning alternate arrangements due to the postal strikes, yet I would have thought they already had my details on record.

We've got a subscription with TES, yet these folks don't seem to relay messages at all.

I've had a couple of calls from these folks, and just after a few rings, they hung up! Naturally, we tried to call them back out of curiosity, only to be greeted by some automated nonsense claiming it was Optimum doing a survey. Talk about feeling a bit foolish! We couldn't help but think we’d been duped into returning their call. What a right palaver!

Received a rather dodgy call from this number. My mum is a subscriber to the TES magazine, which is sent out by post. The caller mentioned something about the disruption caused by the Royal Mail strike and was probing for alternative postage options, requesting some personal details. It's quite clear that they've already got hold of some postal information, don't you think?

I recently received a call from someone claiming to be from TES, asking for our school's address and postcode due to the postal strike situation. However, as soon as we mentioned that the strike had ended, they promptly disconnected the call. Very strange indeed!

We've got a TES subscription in place. However, we haven’t responded to their outreach. Honestly, we’re quite indifferent to getting this late notification. I can't quite wrap my head around why they’d bother calling everyone when they’ve already sent emails asking for additional information.
