Avoid calling this number at all costs, it’s a complete rip-off and they charge you loads. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Turns out this phone number is for BT customer support. I’ve been fooled a couple of times by it. Most recently, after calling, I noticed a charge of £22.71 on my online bill. When I got through, the agent kept putting me on hold to get in touch with other departments and the whole thing dragged on for more than an hour. They said since it was a call between BT numbers, I wouldn’t be billed, but clearly that wasn’t the case. Absolutely dreadful experience.
