So my central heating boiler froze up this winter and I called the number on the side of my Vaillant boiler, 0870606777, thinking it was the service helpline. Didn’t realise at all that the call would cost a fortune.

I found this number listed in a handbook for installing a Vaillant Boiler from around 2001. Back then, it didn’t seem to be associated with any shady dealings.
