I've been getting calls from this number that not only ring incessantly but also charge me for the privilege. Upon reviewing my statements, I've discovered this has been going on for over a year! Some days, I receive up to four calls. I'm with TalkTalk, and I recently activated their free call barring service, but lo and behold, the mysterious caller has merely altered the last digit of their number. It went from 08706039033 to 08706039032, and I’ve already been charged another 6 pence for two more calls since then! I've blocked the number now, but it's crucial someone investigates how they're pulling this off. My provider has blocked all 0845 and 0870 numbers on my account, so I'm hopeful that might put an end to it. This seriously seems like a scam; clearly, they’re raking in cash from unsuspecting folks like me!
