Upon glancing at my bank statement, I noticed an unauthorised charge of £29.25 had been taken from my account. The bank did provide a contact number, but alas, I found myself in an endless hold queue. I switched my car insurance to M&S back in October, and I suspect there may have been a breach of my information-definitely not ideal! Thankfully, my bank is on the case and sorting it out posthaste, but it really serves as a reminder that one ought to be vigilant when reviewing financial statements.

I've only just discovered that these folks have been siphoning off £20 from our account every week. It seems they managed to acquire our details through Rac vehicle insurance.

I've only just noticed that these blokes have been siphoning off £20 a week from our account. Apparently, they somehow got hold of our details linked to RAC vehicle insurance.

It seems that this number is linked to British Insurance Services Limited, and they have a rather troubling tendency to set up direct debits from your bank account without your consent. Unfortunately, the banks don't seem to be very cooperative either, as they go ahead and honour these direct debit requests. It feels rather dodgy, doesn't it? Is this a scam, or could it be something more nefarious like phishing?

I've only just come to the realisation that these folks had a connection with our bank for twenty quid a week. It seems they had access to our details through our vehicle insurance with RAC.
