This looks like one of those dodgy phishing sites. Best thing to do is open up Task Manager and force quit your browser to stop whatever shifty script is running. When you next open your browser, make sure it doesn’t try to reopen the pages that crashed last time. Oh, and definitely don’t call the number they show!

This has happened to me twice now. My laptop threw up a warning about something called ''AUTO=LOADING.TRJN''. I managed to fix it by removing the battery, but honestly, no idea what that thing is?

I received a notification on my laptop indicating that I had contracted a virus and I needed to ring a specific number right away, claiming my passwords, browsing history, and payment details were at risk. I went ahead and called the number, but turns out it was all a con. They were after my cash to supposedly resolve a non-existent issue. I'd strongly advise against reaching out to them. It's certainly wise to shut your computer down straight away. You might even have to enlist the help of a professional to sort out the mess-something I’ll be doing myself. Just exercise extreme caution when downloading anything!

Just got a call from a Skype number saying my computer has six viruses and I need to clean it straight away. Seemed like one of those classic virus warning scams. Definitely going to ignore it and not let them anywhere near my PC!

Not really sure if this is a scam but every time I open Internet Explorer, a pop-up comes up with a Microsoft Security Essentials badge telling me to ring this number because supposedly I’ve got a trojan auto-downloading on my PC. The annoying thing is, I can’t even get rid of the message. Feels a bit suspicious if you ask me.
