On 20/12/15, my mother-in-law, who has dementia, accidentally rang this number 11 times between 12:15 and 13:02. When I called back to check, a woman with an Asian accent answered, but she was mumbling and dodging all my questions.

My mother-in-law, who suffers from dementia, seemed quite perturbed as she placed a staggering eleven calls from around 12:15 to 13:02 on the 20th of December, 2015. I attempted to look into it today, but the woman who picked up the phone kept responding with ‘what’, ‘umm’, and ‘huh’ repeatedly, which was rather frustrating. I eventually ended the call due to the lack of clarity.

It seems there's an individual attempting to pull a fast one by claiming compensation for a car crash they apparently had involving a BMW 5 Series. Quite the ruse, if you ask me!

I’m working at a bingo hall in Bedfordshire and just got a call from this number while on shift. When I picked up, a man with an Asian accent said something I couldn’t make out. I asked him to say it again and he just asked if I’d been in a car crash some time ago. I told him nicely that he’d dialled a bingo club by mistake. He hung up right away. Maybe a genuine mix-up? But after looking the number up online, loads of others say it’s dodgy. I’d stay well clear of it. I’m definitely going to report this number as well.

I'm so done with these scammers ringing up constantly. Honestly, what's the use of the TPS if it just doesn’t do anything? They should really start fining these muppets properly, maybe then they’d think twice before trying to pull a fast one.

Got a call from 08704940447 and all they did was say “hello” before hanging up after I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then, they called back on Sunday 20/12/15 and mentioned something about a car crash I supposedly had. I just told them again they’d dialled the wrong number and ended the call.

Got a call yesterday from someone with an Indian accent asking about an accident last September, which I have no clue about. I tried telling them there was no accident, but they just ended the call. Then they rang me once more this morning, and when I asked them to remove my number from their list, they hung up again.

Got two calls from this number, one at 16:39 and another at 17:41. At first, it showed as an international number. The first time, it was a woman with a foreign accent talking about a recent accident I supposedly had. I told her I’m on the TPS list and don’t want these annoying calls. When I answered the second call just with a "Hello," it got disconnected straight away.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent asking if i was involved in a small crash. Since he had no specifics, i told him he was trying to scam me. Then i put the phone on loudspeaker so he could listen to all the little crashes my RC car was making in the lounge.

Got a call from some accident claim dodgers, sounded like they were from Asia. I told the guy nicely to hold on a bit while I sorted something out. Then I put him on speaker and left the phone down, letting him get more and more annoyed for a couple minutes as I kept saying “just a sec.” Eventually he gave up and hung up. I made sure to block the number so they can’t bother me again. These muppets hate it when you waste their time and don’t give them any info, plus it costs them cash to keep calling. Best move is just to ignore and block, don’t feed the trolls!
