This has led us to suspect that it might be a foreign call promoting unsavoury content associated with the number 0161 263 1186. Additionally, there’s a reference to 08070 3332820, which O2 confirmed is linked to individuals who seem unable to cease their activities. Quite concerning, to say the least!

I've received a similar unsavoury text message, but the number that sent it was 02081145480. The message itself referenced the number 08703332820, and this time, it mentioned a name-AMBER. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, things remain unchanged. It's beginning to feel as if the telecom companies aren't exerting enough effort to tackle this issue. I've been with O2 and must say, we never encountered such nuisance calls or messages with any of our prior providers before switching to O2. Once our contract runs its course, we are definitely considering making a switch!

I'm utterly exasperated with these incessant calls. We routinely respond to them by firing off a 'quit' message, just as Carphone Warehouse recommended (although I'm with Orange). Without fail, every weekend brings yet another one of these pesky texts. And then there's this annoying one about BANG. TV! that somehow activates our wap whenever we accidentally tap on it. Honestly, it's so frustrating!
