I really hope these folks aren’t out to rip people off, but it certainly has all the hallmarks of a scam, doesn’t it?

When we mentioned we had no pending financial obligations with anyone, they appeared quite taken aback. We inquired about where they had obtained our details, and they insisted that we must have submitted a finance application in the last six months, which simply isn't true-regardless of whether we had. We consistently ensure to check the box indicating that we do not wish our information to be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
