Been getting loads of calls and emails from these lot. They keep asking me to change my password and want to know my security question answer. I keep telling them I have no clue. My son went ahead and blocked the phone number, and I've sorted out the emails too. It’s definitely the same bloke ringing, and he’s pretty pushy. He rang me like 5 times in just two hours, but I didn’t pick up once!

Got a load of dodgy calls pretending to be from O2. I wasn’t having any of it and let them know exactly what I thought. I sent a quick text to the UK Police Fraud division at 7726 to report it. If more people did this along with logging the numbers on sites like this, it’d be a great way to crack down on the scammers. Just send a text saying 'Call 08703120897' to 7726 if you’re in the UK.

Got a call from this number earlier, but lucky me I didn’t pick up. After reading what others said here, I’ve just gone ahead and removed the number from my contacts.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2. They offered me a phone deal for £35 a month, supposedly half price, but never spoke about calls, texts, or data. Then they asked if I was already signed up with them. Pretty clear to me it was a scam, no doubt about it.

They called me saying if I verified my email, I’d get 25% off my O2 bill forever, not just for a few months. Seemed a bit too good to be true!

I got calls from three different numbers, like 10 times in total. They tried to act like they were from O2 and asked me to spell out my email address. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

These crooks really do live it up. When I called them out about preying on older and vulnerable folks, they got proper smug. One bloke told me, "While you lot working-class types are just scraping together a simple meal, if you're lucky, we'll soon be chilling in Miami, knocking back cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor in a few months." They reckon they're just enjoying the rewards of their hustle, living it large despite the cost of living crisis, having made millions while the rest of us see our pay go down. Absolutely infuriating. 🤬

Their English was awful. They claimed to be from O2 trying to give me a discount, but there’s no way they’re actually with O2.

This person couldn’t even say my name properly and kept dodging when I asked if she really worked for O2. She was pushing some supposed 30% off on the O2 bill but it felt so dodgy. Totally a scam, don’t hand over any info!

Got a message from this number saying it was 02, but they never mentioned why they were texting. I’ve had loads of similar calls and texts from different numbers and ended up blocking most of them.

Over the past month, I'd get calls from this number a few times. I finally picked up on the third ring, and the person on the other end seemed to struggle a lot with English, babbling on about cutting down my phone costs without needing a fresh contract or something like that. When they stopped talking, I told them I wasn't the one who paid the bills, and then they just hung up on me.

Best to ignore it. As soon as I picked up, they just ended the call - total time wasters.
