At first glance, it appears that certain companies handle calls for businesses, especially when the working hours are over. There’s quite a bit to consider here, particularly when a firm relies on such a service to manage their ringing system.

I received a message from this number, and it merely said “SIM alert.” Has anyone else had a similar experience? What do you all reckon this could mean?

We're fairly convinced that this number belongs to Goldsborough House Care Ring Centre, where we were employed over a year back. Just this afternoon, we received a couple of text messages asking for coverage. Honestly, what a right circus!

I reckon this was the Goldsborough House Care Centre we used to do our bit for more than a year back, and this afternoon, we received two texts asking for someone to fill in. What an absolute circus!

1st Ring operates as a service that companies rely on to handle calls for them outside of regular operating hours. They often step in when a business utilises a call diversion system.

I received three missed calls from this number earlier today and left a voicemail indicating that they were phoning outside of business hours. They mentioned to call back at 0870238520 when convenient. Before I return the call, does anyone happen to know who this might be? We've been caught out too many times before!

We’ve been receiving these text messages lately, and it’s curious since we've only had this number for about a month. We haven't shared it with anyone yet. Initially, we thought these folks were just sending messages to the wrong number. However, as the “text alert” messages kept rolling in, we began to suspect that something else was going on.

"I'm reaching out regarding the incessant calls I've been receiving from a number that claims to be GOLDLBSOUGH. They insist I urgently need to cover some rings tonight, and I could use any assistance possible. Oh, and they also urge me to contact the branch office for further calls this evening. I find this bewildering, considering I've only had this phone for a month, and I haven’t a clue who FirstCall or Goldlsbough even are. It feels like an elaborate scam aimed at getting folks to dial their premium rate lines. How on earth do these scammers operate?!"

Received three missed calls from this number today. I left a voicemail mentioning that it was the out-of-hours service and requested a callback as soon as possible on 087023852000. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on who this might be before I return the call, as we've been duped too often before!
