It’s utterly baffling how a company can function like this in our modern age. A friend of ours was a store manager there for a time, and she couldn’t wait to move on. The atmosphere was so grim, with everyone feeling overstretched and discontented. The targets they imposed were absurdly unrealistic, and it seemed no one ever managed to meet them.
