It seems there was some sort of grouping situation going on. The system documents every interaction, and as a result, we ended up accumulating 27 instances (353) of calls throughout the quarter. Each time you engage or disengage the alarm, it registers as a 7P. If you contact the BT House Monitor helpline, they can assist in disabling the notifications, or alternatively, you could simply consult the manual. We’ve noticed this number cropping up on our Sky phone bill multiple times, and to be honest, we’ve never dialled it ourselves. When we reached out to Sky for clarification, they were quite vague and couldn’t really shed any light on why these calls were being logged. They mentioned it could potentially be the Sky+ box making automatic calls, but honestly, it’s a bit hard to believe considering it's over 30 calls to this number in a month! Is anyone else facing similar issues with this number?

Each time you activate or deactivate the alarm, it incurs a charge of 7p. Should you wish to disable this feature, contacting the BT House Monitor helpline will do the trick, or you can simply consult the manual for guidance. You'll find the option within the COMMS menu-look for the Send/on/off feature-ensure that it's adjusted to SEND NO.
