This number rang us a few times today at around 2 PM, but each time they hung up before we could pick up. After a bit of digging, we tried 1471 and, surprisingly, managed to get the caller ID. It came up as 0870 1287347. Naturally, we had a look online to see what we could find, and here we are! Fingers crossed it’s nothing concerning, but we definitely won’t be returning the call!

When I answered, there was absolute silence on the other end.

We've made several attempts to return the call to this number, which supposedly belongs to some Scottish Pinnacle or similar outfit. It's maddening, as we're getting at least three rings a day! When we tried to call back, there was an option to leave our name and number, and they really ought to remove us from their lists and stop the incessant calls! I've gone through this rigmarole four times now, and yet the nuisance continues unabated!

This number tried to get in touch with us around 2 o'clock this afternoon, but we had about seven calls drop before we could pick up. Curious, we dialled 1471, and that’s how we discovered it was 0870 1287347. So here we are now, looking it up. We were rather hoping to identify the caller, but I certainly won’t be returning the call!

I received a call from this number just after choosing to ignore it for about a week. They claim to be a company selling an "Income Protection Plan" in the event of redundancy or similar situations. I recently received a call from this number, and when we asked them to stop ringing us, the rather rude young lady on the line informed us that she couldn’t accept requests from anyone other than our partner, as she insisted on speaking directly to them! How infuriating!
