We received a call from someone with an Asian accent, and we were on our mum's phone at the time. The girl on the line asked for our mobile number and our address to inform our mum about a package that was supposedly meant for me. My mum gave her the information, and I have to say, I feel relieved after reading the comments above!

Since our previous update, we've not received anything further from them. I'd suggest disregarding their correspondence and saying nothing when they call. We've kept hold of all their letters, just in case they opt for a more menacing approach. As we've mentioned before, by simply ignoring them, they'll likely lose interest and move on. However, I’m not entirely sure how one can hand them off to their parents when everything is marked "Return to sender" for all mail. It’s a bit of a pickle, to be honest!

A voice with an Eastern accent chimed in, and our mum answered the phone. The young lady was trying to locate our mobile number and our address, claiming that she had a parcel meant for me. Mum went ahead and shared the number, and I felt quite pleased after scanning through the comments that followed!

CAUTION: This company is a DEBT collection agency that acquires antiquated debts from a firm named CapQuest for a mere fraction of their value. They are now relentlessly pursuing individuals to acknowledge these debts. If you acknowledge them, you're essentially forfeiting your rights under the statute of limitations, meaning they can come after you again later. Therefore, STAY VIGILANT! DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING OR SIGN ANY DOCUMENTS. It would be wise to reach out to the Office of Fair Trading in Manchester. The more complaints lodged, the better the chance of revoking this agency's Debt Collection Agency licence.

We've recently received a call from this number, and it appears they’re inquiring about our neighbour. The callers claimed to be from some telegraph office, speaking in an Asian accent, and mentioned having a business letter intended for our neighbour. They tried to gather information from us, but we felt quite uneasy right from the outset. You see, we’ve only just set up a brand new BT line a few weeks back and haven’t had the chance to update all our contacts with the new number yet. So, I'm puzzled about how they even got hold of our number without BT sharing it with anyone. Just a word of caution to everyone-stay vigilant!

It appears to be a debt recovery agency trying their luck at your address, even if you don’t actually reside there. They may attempt to lure you in by claiming there’s a parcel awaiting collection, which is simply a ruse to get you to call them. Best to steer clear of such tactics!

I recently received a call from a gentleman named Delani, who appeared to be of Asian descent. He mentioned something about having a business parcel that needed to be delivered to a firm in Hampshire, even providing a reference number for it! Interestingly, he claimed he needed to verify my address because he had three different ones on file. However, when I inquired about how he had managed to get my phone number, he casually remarked that it came from one of those addresses. Strangely enough, he didn’t share any more details before the call abruptly ended. Quite an odd encounter, to say the least!

I haven't received a call just yet, but I did get a letter from HL Legal Solicitors claiming to represent Telegram Limited. The letter included this phone number, but it didn't provide any useful details that would help me understand what they are after. In the end, I just chucked it in the bin.

I received a call from this number, and it seems like it was a company affiliated with a debt collection agency-sort of like a sibling operation. They were inquiring about someone who used to reside at my address. It's alarming to find out they had access to my information via the electoral roll!

Since my last update, there’s been absolutely no word from them. It’s best to disregard their correspondence and keep schtum when they ring. We’ve held onto every single letter, just in case they start getting a bit nasty. But honestly, as we’ve mentioned previously, if you simply ignore them, they tend to vanish. The tricky part remains figuring out how to stop them from reaching out to your folks, unless your parents send all mail back by writing ‘return to sender, not at this address’.
