I received a dodgy phone call from someone purporting to be Adam, representing BT. He insisted there was some illegal activity affecting my BT internet connection and claimed he could sort it out for me. He warned ominously that if I didn’t follow his instructions, my service would be cut off. Turns out, this chancer was calling from New Delhi, India. Best to steer clear of such nonsense!
