Just received my latest bill from Virgin Mobile, and it shows I've supposedly chatted to this number for a whopping 14 minutes. I attempted to get in touch with Virgin Mobile for assistance, but it seems they can't block that particular number, 08700428490. To top it all off, I'm still getting charged for "Additional Usage." It's absolutely infuriating, as I've never dialled that number in my life!

Just noticed I've been charged for calling this number, even tho I've never dialled it. Virgin Media keeps charging me and can't tell who I supposedly called??. Thinking of switching phones, but is there an app I can use to block calls straight from my phone? Thanks in advance!

I noticed two calls on my phone bill going out to this number, both lasting about 8 minutes. The charges were £0.88 and £3.75. I got in touch with EE to sort it out. Turns out the number originates from China, which I definitely haven’t dialled. Just a heads up - if your bill suddenly looks higher, have a proper look at any extra fees from calls and see if you know all the numbers listed. Fingers crossed no one else has to deal with this!
