Just received my latest bill from Virgin Mobile, and it shows I've supposedly chatted to this number for a whopping 14 minutes. I attempted to get in touch with Virgin Mobile for assistance, but it seems they can't block that particular number, 08700428490. To top it all off, I'm still getting charged for "Additional Usage." It's absolutely infuriating, as I've never dialled that number in my life!

I've been charged recently for a call to a number I can honestly say I've never dialled. Virgin Media keeps sending me bills, yet they can't tell me who I supposedly called! It's quite baffling. Aside from the hassle of swapping my mobile number altogether, does anyone know of any apps that would allow me to block these calls from my phone? Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

I noticed something quite odd recently-there were two calls allegedly made from my mobile to this particular number, both lasting a rather unusual 8 minutes and 7 seconds. The charges were 0.88 plus an additional 3.75, which struck me as rather steep. So, I got in touch with EE to query the situation. It turns out that this number is linked to China, a country I certainly haven’t been dialling! If you happen to see your phone bill creeping up, I’d advise scrutinising those extra charges. Be sure to look into any unfamiliar numbers you might find. Fingers crossed, no one else has to deal with this sort of nonsense!
