Bloke ended up with a £20 charge from this number and can't even remember picking up the phone. His statement shows he was supposedly chatting for over thirty minutes! Thankfully, his provider has come to the rescue and cleared the charges off his bill. What a stroke of luck!

They surely must be aware of these fraudulent operations, yet they continue to profit from us while funneling money to these rogue companies. Perhaps if the relevant authorities enforced hefty fines on these networks, we might see them take a firmer stance against these scam outfits. It’s downright shameful! Almost everyone - including kids - has a mobile these days, and just envision the profits these scammers are raking in off the backs of their victims. One simple way to shield yourself is to get in touch with your provider and request a zero credit limit on your account; that way, you're much less likely to fall victim to their tricks. It's astonishing how the mobile networks don’t proactively inform us about such protective measures!
