Mate found a charge of £20 from this number on his bill, but he swears he never even picked up that call.. His phone details show he was talking for more than 30 minutes though.. Thankfully, his network provider ended up removing the fees..

Why don't our mobile phone companies do more to keep their customers safe? They know these scam firms are out there, yet somehow, we're still footing the bills. It feels like all the network providers are just taking money from us while letting these crooks carry on. Honestly, the gov should step in and slap fines on these networks, maybe then they'd care enough to stop the scams. Nearly everyone, including kids, has a mobile phone these days - just think about how much cash these scammers are stealing! The simplest fix is to contact your mobile provider and ask them to set your account with zero credit limit so no one can scam you again. It’s shocking the networks don’t even tell us this from the start! What a disgrace.

Dont pick up this number, its a rip off! I got charged £8 just for answering and no one was even on the other end. Total scam, stay clear of it!
