I have been receiving frequent phone calls from a particular number claiming to be Life Services and asking me to participate in a survey. It's quite evident that the caller is situated in India based on their accent. This has started to feel like a form of harassment as these calls persistently occur. Despite hanging up every time, I'm growing increasingly frustrated with this situation. I wonder if there is any action that can be taken to resolve this issue.

Today, I received a phone call from an individual from India. When my son answered and told them that my dad was not available, the person responded by using extremely offensive language, saying something highly inappropriate to my son. This incident left us feeling completely appalled.

I received multiple phone calls, but no messages were left on my answering machine. When I finally answered the call, a gentleman with a foreign accent claimed he was from the Spurn Bank. He inquired whether I had made a significant deposit recently. Bewildered, I responded that I had no knowledge of such matter and promptly ended the call. These individuals should reflect upon their actions with remorse.

I received a call earlier from someone who identified themselves as a representative from the Home Advisory Service. They stated that they were conducting a survey on home energy. The person on the other end of the line was an Asian woman. I decided to question her about which country she was calling from, to which she replied "Kent." I was a bit confused as Kent is actually a county, not a country. I also mentioned that my number is registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), which means that companies should not be contacting me for marketing purposes. However, she insisted that the call was not related to selling anything, but rather just for conducting a survey. Next, she asked if my number was for a business. I didn't respond to that question. Instead, I engaged in a bit of playful banter with her, hoping to waste her time since they would be footing the bill for the call. Eventually, I decided it was time to end the conversation and hung up on her.

Starting at approximately 11:40 on 14th August 2013, we have received a total of 15 calls from this specific number within a span of 20 minutes. The number of calls has slightly decreased since then. However, as of now, we have recorded a total of 20 calls within 25 minutes (the first call being received just 25 minutes ago while I am writing this message). On some occasions, the callers identified themselves as representatives from a call centre, but most of the time, they abruptly ended the call once they realized they had dialed a business number.

I receive calls from this number quite frequently. There is a person named Jonathan who speaks with an Indian accent and represents Life Services, asking me to participate in a survey. It is frustrating as they are aware of my name. I find it extremely bothersome and always end the call abruptly.

An individual with an Indian accent contacted me over the phone, stating that they were from BT and wanted to enhance my computer and broadband service. I informed them that I was not a BT customer, but they insisted on offering assistance regardless. Subsequently, I contacted BT to verify the authenticity of the call. BT confirmed that they were not the source of the call and did not possess the means to provide such a generous offer. It is undoubtedly a scam, as the individual insisted I immediately go in front of my computer. Please be cautious and avoid falling victim to this deception.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Asian background who introduced himself as SHAUN. He claimed to be from my broadband service provider, but when I inquired about the specific provider, he was unable to provide an answer. Respectfully, I requested him to remove my information from his database. If this situation were to happen again, I would choose not to be as polite.

I have received 4 calls today, but whenever I answer, there is no one on the line. It is incredibly frustrating.

A group of individuals contacted my elderly mother, who is 86 years old, and proceeded to engage in nonsensical and distressing conversation. They made references to the film 'Pretty Woman' and shared generally upsetting gibberish. I attempted to call the number, but it appears to be unavailable (obviously). BT, as well as the TPS and UK authorities, should take some actions regarding this matter. It may be worthwhile to inform the Indian Government that we will reduce aid if they do not address this issue. This could help put a stop to these calls or at least prompt some action on their end, rather than being provided with the excuse that nothing can be done, which we are currently being given.

There have been several instances where my phone has been ringing, but no one utters a word when I answer the call.

I fell for a scam where someone with an Asian voice asked if I had been in an accident. Since I hadn't, I sarcastically asked if they wanted me to have one, and they promptly ended the call. As a precaution, I suggest saving their number in your phone's contacts under the label "nuisance." Whenever they call, don't pick up; even better, answer the call and leave the phone off the hook for a while. Avoid subscribing to any paid services for blocking such calls. For instance, joining the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) costs over £40.

A gentleman from Asia called to inform me that the money owed to me by the High Court had been received. However, as I found this claim suspicious and knew it was untrue, I advised him to refrain from calling me further. I warned him that if he continued to do so, I would report his number to the police.

However, due to their refusal to provide any identifiable information and inability to verify their affiliation with EON, we became suspicious. Upon checking the source of the incoming call using the 1471 feature, we discovered that the call originated from the aforementioned number. Curiously, when attempting to return the call, we received a message stating that the number was not recognized by the telephone system. Notably, these unsolicited calls persisted throughout the day yesterday and continued this morning. It is worth mentioning that we have registered our number with the phone preference system, which is designed to prevent cold calls. Given the circumstances and our concerns regarding the legitimacy of these calls, we have chosen not to engage further with the individual on the line.

I do not recognize the caller, so I always avoid picking up calls from unknown numbers. It's important to note that my landline telephone is equipped with caller display. Interestingly, after the call was redirected to the voicemail, the automated voice said "answering." This is a peculiar occurrence as I have never encountered it before. I am uncertain about the reason behind this unexpected behavior.
