This number keeps ringing me up, claiming to be from Life Services and asking if I'd like to take a survey. The guy on the phone nearly always sounds like he’s calling from India. It’s getting quite annoying now, feels almost like harassment. I usually just hang up right away, but these calls are seriously starting to grate on me. Surely there’s some way to put a stop to this?

Today, I got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent. When my son answered and said hello a couple of times, then told him my dad wasn’t around, the guy just snapped at him, saying something like “go and fxxk your ars.” Honestly, it was completely shocking and rude.

Some woman with an accent, sounded Asian, rang me saying there was a problem with my PC and asked me to turn it on straight away. I told her I wasn’t falling for it and that she should be embarrassed for trying, but she just kept pushing me. I even told her my husband works as a computer engineer so we’d spot any issues easily, but she insisted that only THEY could fix it and again urged me to power it up. Ignore any instructions from this number - it’s a total scam!!!

They kept ringing but never bothered to leave a message on my answerphone. When I eventually answered, some bloke with an accent claiming to be from Spurn Bank asked if I’d just put a big sum in my account. I told him I hadn’t the foggiest what he was on about and ended the call. Honestly, these idiots need to sort themselves out.

Got a call today from a lady with an Asian accent, said she was from some Home Energy Survey group or something. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Kent - I mean, isn’t that just a county? I pointed out that we’re registered with the TPS, but she said it wasn’t a sales call, just a survey. Then she asked if this was a business number, but I kept quiet. She went into some long spiel denying any selling was involved. I kept messing with her for a bit until she finally hung up. Honestly, as long as they’re footing the phone bill, I might as well have some fun.

Around 11:40 on 14/8/13, this number kept ringing us non-stop - about 15 times over 20 minutes - and they didn't stop there. The calls have slowed down a bit but by now, we've had roughly 20 calls in just 25 minutes since the first one. Occasionally, the caller would say they’re from some call centre, but more often than not, they just hung up straight away once they realised they’d reached a business.

I keep getting calls from this number quite often. A guy named Jonathan, who sounds Indian and claims he's from Life Services, rings me up asking me to participate in a survey. It's weird cause he actually knows my name. Really irritating, so I just end the call every time.

I got a call from someone who spoke with an Indian accent and said they were from BT, offering to upgrade my broadband and computer setup. I told them I wasn’t actually a BT customer, but they insisted it was no big deal and just wanted to assist anyway! Afterwards, I contacted BT directly, and they made it clear the call wasn’t from them at all, and they definitely don’t have that kind of service available. It was obviously a scam, especially since the caller asked me to go to my computer straight away. Be careful and don’t get caught out!

Some bloke, called Shaun, rang me up claiming he was from my internet provider. When I tried to check which company he was with, he hadn’t a clue. I told him nicely to remove me from their list, but I’ve got a feeling I won’t be so friendly if he calls again!

These knobs called my elderly mum, who’s 86, and just went on and on about some "pretty woman" nonsense, just spouting off weird and upsetting stuff. I tried ringing them back but the number's dead (what a surprise). Honestly, BT should get a grip on this, and so should the TPS and the government here. Maybe threatening to cut aid to India until they clamp down on this would actually make a difference, instead of just hearing the usual rubbish about how there’s nothing we can do. It’s all just a load of bollocks at this point.

Totally a scam, someone with an Asian accent called me asking about an accident I supposedly had, which I never did. I replied, “Do they want me to have one?” and they just hung up. My advice? Save the number as annoyance or spam on your phone and just ignore any calls from it. If you pick up, leave the phone off the hook for a bit to waste their time. Don’t bother paying for blocking services like TPS either - they charge you over £40, which isn’t worth it.

Got a call from an Asian man claiming the High Court had sent me some money I was owed. I found it quite dodgy since it wasn’t true, so I told him to quit ringing me. I also warned that if he kept it up, I’d have to report the number to the police.

Today I got a call from someone who sounded Indian, probably working in a call centre. They claimed to be from the "Accident Investigation Bureau" and wanted me to confirm the name of a person who supposedly had an accident in the past three years. Complete rubbish, obviously. I refused to give them any info. Then the caller asked if I was married and if we could become 'friends' - totally inappropriate. I wouldn’t answer and asked to talk to his manager instead. Then he pretended to call his manager and suddenly came back on the line saying "manager speaking." I told him he really needed to improve that trick! Things got oddly uncomfortable after that, so I said I'd report him to Ofcom, and he hung up. Normally, I only deal with these calls if I’ve got time to mess around a bit, but this 'Daniel' bloke was seriously unpleasant.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from EON energy, saying they could offer cheaper rates. They wouldn’t tell me their name or any details about the company, so I couldn’t check if they were legit. Using 1471 showed the caller ID as that number, but when I tried to ring back, the phone system said it wasn’t a recognised number. They called me three times yesterday and then again this morning. We’re signed up with the phone preference service, so I’m pretty annoyed about these kinds of cold calls.

Yesterday morning I got three calls from this number and then three again today morning! Everytime I answer, there's just silence and then the call cuts off. It's really irritating!!

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. The other day, I got a voicemail on my landline which shows who’s calling. But weirdly, after the message was left, the person on the other end said "answering" or something like that. Never had that happen before, so I’m a bit puzzled about what’s happening!
