They kept asking about shares I supposedly own, saying it was for some sort of due diligence. Then, out of nowhere, they backed off, mentioning some "administrative irregularities" they’d found. From the start, it all felt a bit dodgy - calling me from Hong Kong at weird times, and when I rang them back, it sounded like I was waking them up.
