Just had a right dodgy call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. When I mentioned that I was capturing the conversation and asked for their name, they abruptly ended the call. Quite revealing, isn't it?

I picked up the phone, and then all I got was silence until a robotic voice chimed in to say goodbye before cutting off. It was rather unsettling, to be honest!

Whenever they call, I just humour them and keep chatting for ages. It really winds them up. Eventually, they just hang up on me, lol.

Just received yet another dodgy call from someone overseas attempting to access my computer - it’s about time the authorities did something to put a stop to these con artists who exploit the unsuspecting and swindle them out of their hard-earned cash. Honestly, they ought to be tracked down, booted out of the country, or even face some serious consequences!

total scam - I work at a place with more than 30 computers, and these guys tried convincing me that every single one of them got infected with a virus. They wanted us to pay for some ‘windows security system’ upgrade. when i asked how many machines were actually affected, they said just mine. totally fishy stuff.

I received a call from this number but chose not to answer it since I didn't recognise it on my caller ID. It went to voicemail, but then I heard a dial tone afterward. I made another call right after to check if my line was functioning properly.

I’ve just received a rather dodgy phone call from an individual of Asian descent, who insisted he was from Windows. He claimed my computer was on the brink of crashing and that it would lead to catastrophic consequences. Quite the con, I must say! He presented himself quite convincingly-a decent bit of trickery, but ultimately not clever enough to fool me.

got a call from a bloke with a strong asian accent saying he was from some windows tech support. he kept pushing that my pc had loads of problems and that he could fix them, really wanted me to have my computer on and be at it, probably to sneak into my system or something. since i work from home, i only trust calls about my work pc from my company’s IT team, so this felt really dodgy and like a scam. would avoid these folks for sure.

I've received a fair few calls from this number, and I've made it clear that if they persist, I'll be reporting them to the authorities. Surprisingly, they hung up quite quickly after that! Thankfully, I've now got the ability to block calls from this number through my landline provider. It might be wise for others to look into similar options if you're being hounded by them as well. I must say, my list of bothersome callers keeps growing by the day!

I'm encountering quite the same issue with this number that purports to be affiliated with Windows. When I quizzed them about whether they were our newly assigned window washers and what their rates were, they promptly ended the call! How odd! Anon

At precisely 8:58 on Saturday, 7th November, I received a rather unsettling phone call. The caller claimed that I had downloaded some malicious information containing a virus and urged me to sit by my computer. When I explained that I didn’t own a computer, they went on to inquire if I had a laptop or any other gadget capable of accessing the internet. I replied in the negative, and that’s when they abruptly ended the call. The voice on the other end sounded distinctly Asian.

Got a call from an Asian guy with a couple other voices faint in the backround. He claimed my PC was running some kind of report and said they’re the service provider. I thought they meant to call my home number. As soon as I said our IT team handles that, they hung up straight away.

I keep receiving calls where it sounds as if nobody’s on the line. Then out of nowhere, I get a ‘Goodbye’. It’s absolutely infuriating!

I'm beyond livid with these individuals! I'm anxiously anticipating important updates regarding my elderly father who is currently hospitalised, and each time the phone rings, I dash to answer it only to be met with these absolute nuisances on the other end. I swear, the next time they call, I might just let out a blood-curdling scream!

We received the same call earlier today, and honestly, we’re completely fed up with these sorts of calls. It feels like such a dreadful waste of time!

Just another rogue attempting to swindle the elderly! They're claiming there's an issue with their computer, hoping to pull the wool over their eyes.

I've had numerous calls from a so-called "Windows Service Station." They insist on accessing my computer remotely via Teamviewer, and I seriously suspect it's a scam or some sort of fraudulent activity. Several different people have reached out, all introducing themselves as James, occasionally going by the surname Watson or Walker. They all have a distinctly Asian accent, likely from India. One chap, who identified himself as James, provided me with the number 0800 088549 and claimed they were operating out of London and were somehow affiliated with Microsoft. It's all rather suspect, to say the least.

I had a rather amusing encounter with some blokes who rang me up claiming my computer was on the verge of a catastrophic failure. They insisted that I boot it up, promising to sort out the so-called issue. I informed them that I didn't even own a computer! Their response? A rather unsavoury "Sod off, you tosser!" before promptly disconnecting the call. Quite the spectacle, I must say!
